The rogatory request submitted by the attorney of an academic continuing her academic work abroad has been rejected by the 37th Heavy Penal Court Presiding Judge, who has said, “I cannot deal with rogatory, it is such a difficult procedure.”

Discharged from Erzincan University by a statutory decree, Serdar Başçetin from Academics for Peace initiative has been arrested.

Başçetin was detained in a home raid in Antalya on February 13 due to his social media posts.
